*Ο κ. Γ. Τσιούλιας έχει εξειδικευτεί στις ΗΠΑ στην Πανεπιστημιακή κλινική του San Diego  στους πιο σύγχρονους τρόπους διόρθωσης με laser της μυωπίας του αστιγματισμού και της υπερμετρωπίας. Στο ενεργητικό του περιλαμβάνεται μεγάλος αριθμός επεμβάσεων στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Ο κ. Γ. Τσιούλιας είναι κάτοχος του Ευρωπαικού διπλώματος στην Οφθαλμολογία (European Board of Ophthalmology) και διδάκτωρ του Πανεπιστημίου της Αθήνας. Η εμπειρία του εκτείνεται σε όλο το εύρος των τεχνικών διόρθωσης με laser των προβλημάτων των γυαλιών με τα οποία και ασχολείται εξειδικευμένα από το 1995.

ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΜΑ
 
O χειρουργός Οφθαλμίατρος κ. Γεώργιος Τσιούλιας ολοκλήρωσε την ειδίκευσή του στην Οφθαλμολογία το 1995 στην Πανεπιστημιακή Οφθαλμολογική Κλινική της Αθήνας και ανακηρύχθηκε διδάκτορας του Πανεπιστημίου της Αθήνας το 1999 μετά την ολοκλήρωση της διδακτορικής διατριβής του με θέμα: «Η συμβολή της τοπογραφίας του κερατοειδούς με ηλεκτρονικό υπολογιστή στην μελέτη των επεμβάσεων διαθλαστικής χειρουργικής για την διόρθωση της μυωπίας».
 
 Ο κ. Γεώργιος Τσιούλιας είναι κάτοχος του Ευρωπαικού διπλώματος Αριστείας στην Οφθαλμολογία, (European Board of Ophthalmology Diploma, EBOD) μετά από επιτυχείς εξετάσεις στο Παρίσι.
 
Έχει εκπαιδευτεί στην Αμερική, στην Πανεπιστημιακή κλινική του San Diego στην Καλιφόρνια των ΗΠΑ, στους πιο σύγχρονους τρόπους διόρθωσης με laser της μυωπίας του αστιγματισμού και της υπερμετρωπίας (Clinical fellowship in Cornea, external diseases and refractive surgery).
 
Στο ενεργητικό του περιλαμβάνεται μεγάλος αριθμός χειρουργικών επεμβάσεων. Η εμπειρία του εκτείνεται σε όλο το εύρος των τεχνικών διόρθωσης με laser των διαθλαστικών προβλημάτων της όρασης, με τα οποία και ασχολείται εξειδικευμένα από το 1995.

Διδακτικό Έργο:

1997-2004: Ως επιστημονικός συνεργάτης της Πανεπιστημιακής Οφθαλμολογικής Κλινικής Αθηνών, συμμετείχα ενεργά στο εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα της κλινικής διδάσκοντας φοιτητές της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και ειδικευόμενους Οφθαλμιάτρους.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE- EDUCATION

 

 

1997- 2017: Surgical experience in excimer laser refractive surgery procedures. Since I began offering refractive surgery in my private practice in 1997, I have successfully performed a great number of excimer laser bilateral procedures (PRK, Lasik, Femto Lasik, Corneal Cross Linking, PTK)—with highly satisfied patients throughout Greece.

My refractive surgery experience extends over the years to different kinds of excimer laser units from the old Nidek EC 5000, Bausch and Lomb Technolas  217Z and Alcon Ladar excimer lasers to the newer Allegretto Wave Eye-Q and  Schwind AMARIS 750s . The same applies to my experience with various kinds of mechanical or laser microkeratomes ( Hansatome Microkeratome,  FEMTO LDV Z4 etc).

 

1997-2004: Cooperating Ophthalmologist attached to the Corneal Department of Athens University Eye Clinic having  actively participated in its clinical and surgical program.

1999: Phd, Athens University OpIhthalmology Division .

Subject:”The contribution of computerized videokeratography to the study of the corneal excimer laser refractive procedures.” Degree “Excellent”.
